Travelling with pets
DOGs & CATs - please call our friendly team on 0800 900 600 in advance, to make your booking due to carriage limitations (one per plane):
- Dogs/cats must travel in an IATA approved crate;
- Dogs 20kg or less (including the weight of the crate): NZ$85 one way per dog;
- Dogs 21kg or more (including the weight of the crate): NZ$95 one way per dog;
- Cats: NZ$69 one way per cat;
- Barrier Air has a limited stock of crates for hire at NZ$60 one way.
- no changes on day;
- we no longer accept farm animals for travel;
- non-refundable, will be held in credit for 12 months, travel completed, from the date ticket purchased.
- Unaccompanied - documentation is required to be completed
